Richard Tinsley is best-selling author of the definitive text: “Advanced Project Financing: Structuring Risk”. A leading project finance banker, engineer and economist with more than 25 years of project finance experience, mostly as a strategic / financial advisor or as the lead banker on numerous transactions in energy, mining, aviation and large-scale Public-Private Projects.

He has first-hand experience in leading, packaging, and advising over 20 major projects, ranging from US$10 million to US$8.8 billion in more than 30 countries around the world. Mr. Tinsley held project finance director positions at Continental Bank in Chicago; European Banking Company in London; Prudential-Bache Capital Funding and Banque Indosuez in Australia.
