Tammer Kamel advises clients on alternative investment strategies. He is an expert hedge fund analyst, having spent ten years on the inside of hedge funds. He has designed and implemented trading models and risk management systems for fixed income arbitrage, convertible arbitrage and statistical arbitrage. He risk managed a $500 million hedge fund. He has designed and managed several $100 million hedge fund portfolios. He has conducted comprehensive due diligence on hundreds of hedge funds and researched thousands.

 

Tammer is an expert in hedge fund risk management, hedge fund strategies and quantitative analysis. He has written and lectured extensively on these three subjects. Educated as a computer engineer, he started his career in 1995 with Citibank analysing interest rate derivatives. Today he helps clients navigate the hedge fund space by advising on high level allocation decisions as well as single fund selection and evaluation. Tammer is based in Toronto, Canada.
