Rudy Wadhera, BEng.(Hons), has over 10 years experience in real estate investment, corporate finance and investment banking, and has an extensive knowledge of the theory and practice of real estate valuation. His valuation expertise spans all manner of investment transactions including yield investments, development projects, corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, leverage buy-outs, corporate restructurings, public-to private transactions, initial public offerings and privatisations.
Rudy currently works for Scholar Capital Management, an investment management company with a significant focus on real estate. Recent investments include commercial real estate, hotel development, retail malls, industrial real estate and residential developments. Previously, he was an investment banker in London and New York with UBS Investment Bank and HSBC Corporate and Investment Banking and Markets, spanning a period of ten years. He has extensive international experience of North American, European and Asian investment markets and has worked with companies in both developed and emerging economies, such as India, giving him a unique insight into valuation techniques and approaches across various industries and global markets.
